Constitution Day Celebrations at Skylark World School

On 26th November 2024, Skylark World School celebrated Constitution Day with enthusiasm and pride, led by the students of Yajur Ved House. The day began with a Special Morning Assembly, featuring a Mass Reading of the Preamble by all students and teachers, reaffirming their commitment to the values of justice, liberty, and equality. A thought-provoking skit on Fundamental Rights & Responsibilities, performed by students of classes IV to IX, captivated the audience with its powerful message. Adding an engaging element, a GK quiz on the Constitution, conducted by Ashwani Pratap Singh, tested students’ knowledge. Saranya Porwal, Vice Captain of Yajur Ved House, delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of our Constitution in shaping the nation. The event concluded with appreciation for the guidance of the Yajur Ved House Teacher. The celebrations truly reflected the spirit of our Constitution!

🎉 National Sports Day Celebrations at Skylark World School 🏅

At Skylark World School, National Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on August 29th, in honor of the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. The event was a vibrant showcase of energy, teamwork, and the spirit of sportsmanship, aimed at promoting the importance of sports and physical activities in our daily lives. The pre-primary students led the way with a series of exciting races that brought smiles and laughter to all: 🐝 Playgroup: The tiny tots buzzed around in the delightful Honey Bee Race, displaying their agility and speed. 🐸 Nursery: The nursery students hopped their way through a fun-filled Frog Race, demonstrating growing strength and coordination. 🎾 LKG: The young learners in LKG showcased their quick thinking in a thrilling Ball Collection activity, emphasizing hand-eye coordination. 🎒 UKG: The UKG students balanced bags on their shoulders in a hilarious Bag Race, showing off their endurance and balance. As the day progressed, the excitement spread across all grades: 🍽️ Classes 1 & 2: Students participated in a challenging Spoon and Marble Race, testing their focus and balance. 🏃‍♂️ Classes 3 to 5: A fast-paced Kho-Kho game had students racing to tag and dodge, highlighting teamwork and strategy. 🏓 Classes 6 to 8: The competitive spirit was alive in Table Tennis Matches, with both singles and doubles providing thrilling rallies. 🏸 Classes 9 to 12: The senior students showcased their skills in Doubles Table Tennis for boys and Badminton Doubles for girls, creating a buzz of excitement. The event reached its peak with a spirited Teachers vs. Students Cricket Match, where the fun and competition were at an all-time high! The National Sports Day celebrations at Skylark World School were a resounding success, promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and confidence among the students. A big round of applause to all the participants, teachers, and organizers for making this day truly memorable! 🎊

Celebrating POSHAN Abhiyan at Skylark World School

On December 2, 2024, Skylark World School enthusiastically observed POSHAN Abhiyan, a vital initiative by the Hon’ble Prime Minister to enhance the nutrition and well-being of children and women. The day began with the students taking the POSHAN Pledge, committing to embrace healthy eating, avoid junk food, and adopt hygienic habits. The pledge embodied the spirit of Bachpan aur Shiksha (childhood and education), promoting a healthier future for all. Engaging discussions and debates were held on the theme "Let’s Talk About Anaemia," raising awareness about its impact and prevention strategies. Additionally, an Essay Writing Competition on “Shree Anna: The Powerhouse of Nutrients” inspired students to explore the benefits of millet and traditional grains. Skylark World School remains dedicated to fostering a culture of health and nutrition among its students, empowering them to lead by example in their communities.

Dussehra Assembly

Skylark world school celebrated Dussehra on 9th October 2024 with vibrant performances and creative displays, highlighting the triumph of good over evil. The event began with an inspiring speech by Ujjwal Sir, emphasizing the festival’s deeper values. Pre-primary students charmed the audience with a delightful puppet show promoting cultural harmony. Students from classes 3 to 8 captivated everyone with an enactment of the Ramayana, showcasing powerful scenes from Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana. Principal Mrs. Sushma Soni commended the students and teachers for their hard work and reminded all to uphold truth, integrity, and kindness.
